Please encourage your child to read at least 20-30 minutes each night. The Summer Reading Bingo Challenge encourages reading, critical thinking, physical activity, relaxation and lots of fun!!!! It will begin on May 25th and end on August 11th. Have your child color in each box on the bingo card once the activity has been completed. Students who complete all of the activities on the card in addition to submitting the summer reading log will be invited to attend a special reading celebration at the end of August. Summer reading will definitely help my PSE Panthers to start the next school year on the right track. A copy of the BINGO Card and the reading log is posted on my media center blog which can be accessed from the Powder Springs Elementary School website. (Select the Staff Tab at the top of the page and then click on the Media Link. Scroll to the middle of the page and this is where you will find the link to the media center blog.
